What we do

Search finds it.
Monitoring keeps up with it.

Search

More Results for the Same Name

Partial words match, and so do the ways people write a name — Assoc finds Association, Mgmt finds Management, South West finds Southwest. A common name returns thousands of matches on a single page; SOSDirect caps a search at 1,000 results and shows ten at a time.

Find Anything on a Street

Look up one street address, or pull up every entity on the street. Because the index is built on the street itself and not the city, an entity still turns up when the state has its city recorded differently from its neighbors'. The Comptroller's franchise tax lookup has no address search at all.

When Responsibility Ended

4.2 million entities have left the Comptroller's Active Entity dataset because their franchise tax responsibility ended. They are searchable here alongside active ones — with the date responsibility ended, which the state's lookup does not report.

The Whole Record, One Page

Franchise tax standing, Secretary of State status as the Comptroller reports it, registered agent, registered office, and officers — all on one page. Filter any result by city, entity type, formation year, or standing.

Monitoring

Checked Every Business Day

Your entire client list is checked against official Texas state records every business day. No manual lookups, no forgotten entities.

Email When Something Changes

Each business day, if anything changed — right to transact, SOS status, registered agent, officers, and more — you get an email with exactly what changed and when.

Change History

Every check is kept, so you can follow how an entity has moved over the years — what changed, what it was before, and how often it has happened. The alert tells you the day; the history shows you the pattern, and gives you something to hand over when you are asked to document it.

One Dashboard for the Whole Book

Every entity you monitor on a single screen, with its current standing beside it — sorted, filtered, or grouped by client, partner, or contact. Bring a whole book over at once by pasting taxpayer IDs or uploading a CSV.

How it works

Up and running in minutes

1

Search for the entity

Look it up by name, address, or taxpayer number — active entities and the ones whose franchise tax responsibility ended, going back more than a century.

2

Add it to monitoring

One click from any result. Or paste in taxpayer IDs or upload a CSV to bring over a whole book at once.

3

Get alerted on changes

Every business day each entity is checked against official Texas state records. Anything that changed arrives by email with a clear summary.

Coverage

Every field that matters, checked every business day

We compare the entity's legal name, its right to transact business, its Secretary of State registration status, its registered agent and registered office, and the officers and members on file — along with report year, DBA, federal EIN and mailing address.

When any of them moves, you get the old value and the new one, dated, and it stays in the entity's history from then on.
